General Information

A park host resides on site to assist campers with check-in/check-out and with day use visitors, as needed. Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 7:00am. Generators may be operated between the hours of 10:00am and 8:00pm. Campers must be 18 years of age to camp alone. Children must be accompanied by an adult. RV and water hook-ups are not available, but a dump station is provided.

Dogs are allowed at the campground, but must remain on leash no longer than 6 feet at all times. The fee for each dog is $5/night and shall be paid to the park host at check-in. No dogs allowed on beach.

We will no longer be selling wood. No fire wood from outside Yolo County will be permitted.

Nearby hiking is available at the Cache Creek Lower Site, approximately 0.75-mile south of the campground (day-use parking fee required).

Most cellular phones do not work at the campground, and there is no public phone, internet, or electrical outlets. It is recommended that campers bring plenty of water for their camping duration, as campsites do not have water spigots. Potable water is available at the central dishwashing station and flushing restrooms. Yellow jackets are common in the Cache Creek Canyon area and may be present at the campground, especially during late summer and early fall when their populations peak. Traps alone cannot fully protect against yellow jackets, so please use precaution when preparing and eating food, as they are attracted to food and beverages.

Temperatures at the campground can be over 100 degrees in the summer during the day, and below 50 degrees in the evening. In early spring and late fall, temperatures can drop<>to near or below freezing. Please plan accordingly and check weather updates.

We will be accelerating our restroom cleaning schedule and will disinfect high touch surfaces to the extent possible, but due to limited staffing, we request that all campers prepare to be as self-contained and self-sufficient as possible. Please bring your own soap, surface disinfectant supplies, hand sanitizer, paper towels/hand towels, and toilet paper. Also consider bringing tablecloths for use on picnic tables at your campsite. Please pack out what you pack in, wherever possible.
